The 2010 International Home+ Houseware Show in Chicago
This was our first appearance at the International + housewareShow, held at the McCormick Place convention center in Chicago from March 14th to 16th. Thae scale of the show was huge, with crowds of exhibitors and customers contributing to the energy.
Our booth's motif was a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony. We used red and black colors to highlight our concept, and hung an authentic Japanese paper umbrella for added effect. To complete the scene, our president ( in town from Japan) gave hand-sharpning demonstrations for knif aficionados and novices alike.
As it was our first time in Chicago we felt we needed to do something special, so we took the occasion to launch our brand new ZANMAI PRO and MCUSTA PRO lines for the North American market. Without a doubt the crowd favorite was our Quince handle ZANMAI PRO series.
This year's IHHS in Chicago was a big moment for us. We couldn't be happier with the responce, and we can't wait for next year!
