The Ambiente Expo in Frankfurt, Germany

This year the MCUSTA team attended the Ambiente Expo from February 12th to 16th at the Messe conference center in Frankfurt, Germany. Ambiente is a truly huge trade show, with tens of thousands of exhibitors from across the world gathered together in 11 hangar-sized conference halls. We had never seen such a spectacular trade show.
The MCUSTA display area was located in the Seki City booth, along with five other knife makers from our hometown. The booth was decorated in the “JINYA” style to give it a traditional Japanese feel.
The Ambiente show ran for five days, and we were very happy with the feedback we received from visitors, who were particularly drawn in by our exclusive handle designs. It was also very rewarding to hear people talking about Japanese knives and their growing worldwide reputation.
Our first priority is to get the ZANMAI name out into the market, and if the Ambiente show was any indication we are headed in the right direction. We plan to keep growing our brand, slowly but surely, and we look forward to attending Ambiente again next year.
